OBITUARY
Fitchburg
Harold S. Miller, 72, of Fitchburg, died Monday August 24, at home with his
loving family at his bedside after a long illness.
Harold is survived by his wife, Ann L. Miller, his sons David H. Miller and
his wife Lynn, of Fitchburg and Ronald J. Miller of Los Angeles, Ca.
Several nieces and nephews. His brothers Robert, Frederick and Milton
Miller Jr. and his sister Hazel Grassier all died before him.
Harold was born in Leominster July 16, 1937, the son of Milton and Marion
(Robbins) Miller and lived in Fitchburg and Leominster. He attended
school in Leominster. He was employed in the housekeeping department
of Burbank Hospital for 29, years. Previously, he had worked at Tilton &
Cook Plastics of Leominster. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving from
1955 to 1958 and served in the Army reserves from 1958 to 1963. He was a
member of St. Camillus Church.
Harold enjoyed yard sales, gardening, bird watching and playing cards with
friends. He also enjoyed gardening and yard work and was an ardent Red
Sox and Patriots fan.
Funeral services for Harold will be held on Thursday, August 27 with a
mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Camillus de Lilis Church 333 Mechanic St. Burial
with military honors will be held at St. Bernard Cemetery. Calling hours in
the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. will be from 9 to 10:30 A. M. in the
Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St.
