Evelyn R. Butterfield, 93, of Simmonsville Avenue, a homemaker, Johnston, died Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Mt. St. Rita Health Center, in Cumberland. She was the wife of the late James A. Butterfield.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Fannie (Lever) Bridge. She lived most her life in Warwick, most recently in Johnston.
She is survived by her two sons, James E. Butterfield and his wife Martha (Harker) Butterfield of Raritan, NJ and Daniel W. Butterfield and his wife Elaine (Bazaral) Butterfield of West Glocester, RI, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday morning at 11am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation 9-11am. Burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Please omit flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Mt.
