Deakins, Margaret B. "Maggie", 75, passed away Monday at Britthaven of South Louisville.
She was born in Trimble Co., KY. to Chester Ellis & Martha Rebecca (Wright) Kinnett. She was retired Head Cashier at Meltons Food Mart after 30 years service, and was member of Beechland Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband of 51 years John B. Deakins Jr.; a brother Chester Kinnett; & a Sister: Louise Welch.
Survivors include her children: Barbara Diane Jucoff (Kenny); Bobby Sue Robeson (Jerry); Debra Kay Fisher (Alvin); John Ellis Deakins (Karen); Dean Allen Deakins (Joan); (9) Grandchildren, (12) Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters: Jean Courtney (Junior) & Lois A. Kemp.
Funeral Service Thursday 11:00 AM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation Wednesday 12 - 9 PM.
