Obituary

Lillian M. (Grande) Brandano passed away on August 22, 2009 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 88 years old.

A life long resident of Malden, Lillian had worked in Converse Rubber Co. She also owned and operated Brandano's Restaurant in Malden, along with her husband Anthony J. Brandano, for over 35 years.

Lillian was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Anthony J. Brandano. She was the loving mother of Judith Sullivan and her husband Michael of Malden, Joanne Emrich and her husband Dick of North Reading and Janice DeSimone of Beverly. Lillian was the dear sister-in-law of Lynda Grande of Boxford. She was the sister of the late Domenic, Edmund and George Grande, Clara Bailey, Laura Grande, Florence DuLong and Barbara Grande. Lillian was the cherished grandmother of Tony and Taryn Sullivan and Ryan, Lauren and Julie Emrich. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, August 26th at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, August 25th from 4-8 PM. Interment Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian's memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
