Julia E. Strang, age 92 of Salem, NH, formerly of Roslindale, MA, died Wednesday at Salemhaven Nursing Home, Salem, NH.Born in Pittsburg, PA, she lived most of her life in Cambridge and Roslindale, MA. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Parish in Roslindale for many years.She worked for many years for the First National Bank of Boston, and was active as a leader of the Girl Scouts and in a variety of senior citizen organizations in the Roslindale area.The widow of J. Russell Strang, she leaves daughter Eleanor Strang and several cousins.Memorial contributions may be made to the Kelley Library, 234 Main St., Salem, NH 03079.A Memorial Service will be held at Salemhaven Nursing Home, 23 Geremonty Drive, Salem, NH on Tuesday August 12 at 11 AM.There are no calling hours.Arrangements are by the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
