Margaret Foster McNamee, age 82, died at her home in Water Valley, MS on August 20, 2009. She was born in Panola County to the late David and Clara Lawley Foster and worked until her retirement at Big Yank in Water Valley, MS. She was a wonderful, loving, caring, giving person, and is fondly remembered for babysitting many children through the years. She was member of First Baptist Church of Water Valley.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley on Sunday, August 23, 2009 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Dr. Randy Bain of First Baptist Church will conduct the 2:00 P.M. funeral service in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks on Monday, August 24, 2009. Burial will follow in Oak HIll Cemetery with Danny McNamee, Wilbur McNamee, Ray Hayles, Dalton Rogers, Charles Rogers, Eddie Rogers, and Joel Rogers serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Clements (Jackie) of Searcy, AR; three sons, John Everett McNamee (Beverly) of Memphis, TN, Paul Scott McNamee (Kelly) of Grenada, MS, and David Lynn McNamee of Water Valley, MS; two sisters, Catherine Tyler of Olive Branch, MS and Clara Bowles of Water Valley, MS; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1969, John Everett McNamee; three sisters, Carlene Stanley, Frances Rogers, and Alma Martin; and one brother, Bill Foster.
