WORCESTER-Martha L. (Favreault) Conway, 94, formerly of Worcester, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Friday, August 21st in the Life Care Center of Auburn. Her husband, Donald J. Conway, died in 1983. She leaves two sons, Don J. Conway, Jr. of Worcester and Chris Conway and his wife, Kathleen of Princeton; her daughter, Elizabeth, wife of John Donoghue of Worcester; nine grandchildren, Mary-Kate Conway Bjorkman, Christopher and Sean Conway, Matthew, Daniel, Timothy and Bridget Donoghue and Elizabeth and Kevin Conway; two great granddaughters, Kylee Conway and Ava Bjorkman; and several nephews and nieces. Three brothers, Henry, Charles and Roland Favreault and a sister, Lucille Favreault predeceased her.
Mrs. Conway was born in Worcester the daughter of Harry and Gertrude (Hazelton) Favreault; and was a graduate of South High School. She had been employed by the former Worcester County National Bank and later worked for Melville Shoe. Mrs. Conway had been a member of St. Joan of Arc, St. Bernard and St. George’s parishes. She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends, as well as gardening and cooking. The Conway family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Life Care Center of Auburn for their care and support provided to Martha.
Funeral services and burial are private. There are no calling hours. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
