In Taunton, August 20, 2009 William J. ,age 88, passed away at home after a period of failing health. William was the beloved husband of Patricia (McGuirk) Morin. He was born in Taunton to his late parents William & Mary (McCarthy) Morin, where he has lived all of his life. William was educated in Taunton schools and graduated from Monsignor Coyle High School. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. William retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed ten pin bowling, belonging to many leagues in the area, gardening and his family. He was the father of Jane Reid & her husband James of Taunton, Michael Morin & his wife Sandra of Taunton and Paula Morin of Taunton. His sister Mary McAloon and her husband John of Taunton. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton on Monday, August 24th at 9am. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 4-6pm. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
