Starke, Fl.-Enidzelle “Easy” Floyd Raulerson, 83, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at her residence in Starke, FL. She was born in Chatham County and raised in Long County. She had lived in Jacksonville, FL. for over 30 years before returning to Long County and had been living in Starke for the past two years. She had previously been employed with Florida Theatres while her husband drove for Greyhound Bus Lines and she later worked for Gray Well & Pump Company. She was an avid card player with her many friends. She was a member of Gum Branch Baptist Church and was a member of Elim Baptist Church as a child. Mrs. Raulerson was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Archie P. Raulerson, and her brothers, Earl and Walton Floyd.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Kelsey Kemp of Orlando, Florida; two sisters, Wilma Ray of Hinesville and Irene (Herb) Dykes of Earleton, Fl; one brother, Avanda Floyd (Mary) of Jacksonville, FL; two granddaughters, two great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Gum Branch Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Barnett and Rev. David Daus officiating.
Interment will follow in the Elim Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
Active Pallbearers will be Henry Raiford, Randy Ray, Kevin Floyd, Mardo Floyd, Mike Dykes, and Ryan Dykes.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Woody Adams, Marty Adams, Lee McFann, Howard Hill, Otto Dykes, Harold Tatum, Raleigh Way, Gary Way, Tommy Way, Dennis Howard, Dr. Sabin Tomus, Dr, Geoffrey Peters, and Rick Weeks.
