Rita C. Masse 94, of 303 Rhode Ave., N. Smithfield, died Tuesday at the Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Germain R. Masse. Mrs. Masse was born in Grafton, MA, a daughter of the late Napoleon and Mary Louise (Poulin) Bachand. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons Germain A. "Jim" Masse and his wife Pauline of N. Smithfield, and Norman V. Masse of St. Petersburg, FL and two granddaughters, Dawn R. Masse Gariepy and Sherry L. Masse. She was the sister of Henry, Valmore, and Lionel Vachand, and Alice Bergeron and half sister of Doris Burns. She was also the mother of the late Richard L. Masse
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Charles Church, N. Main St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
