Obituary

Salem: Anne V. (Parachojuk) Michaud, age 85 of Salem, died, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the Beverly Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Michaud, with whom she had shared 43 years of marriage.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Klim and Emilia (Morawa) Parachojuk. A graduate of Salem High, she began working for New England Telephone Co. as an operator during World War II and later transferred to the accounting department in Boston. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneer Assoc.

Anne thoroughly enjoyed life. Family was everything to her and she loved traveling throughout Europe and this country with her family. A woman of many talents, her interests were in charcoal drawing, photography, violin, all four legged creatures and crafts. She will be remembered for her kindness, loving and free spirit.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Joyce B. Benjamin of Middleton, Dianne M. Massa of Chelsea, and a brother, George Parachojuk. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Wendy Sholds & Ross MacDonald and 2 great-grandchildren, Shannon Sholds & Luna MacDonald and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday at 8 a.m. at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem to be followed by her funeral mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, on the Salem / Peabody line at 9 a.m. Visiting hours: Friday 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
