Donald E. Grace, 64 of Mattapoisett died August, 8, 2003 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
He was the husband of Joyce F. (Rapoza) Grace and son of the John and Frances (Rymut) Grace.
Mr. Grace was born in New Bedford and lived in New Bedford before moving to Mattapoisett in 1967.
He was formerly employed as a welder at Bradford Steel, Hathaway Braley, Boston Gas Company and Sal's Welding until his retirement. In his retirement, he worked part-time at the Mattapoisett Landfill Transfer Station which he truly enjoyed.
He Served in the US Air Force.
Mr. Grace enjoyed fishing and his daily coffee at the Seaport Coffee Shop in Mattapoisett.
Survivors include his wife; a sister, Joan Vosburgh of Sandwich, MA; a grandson, Christopher J. Warren of Mattapoisett; a niece and a nephew.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd., (Rt. 6), Mattapoisett, Wednesday, August 13th at 11 AM.
Visiting hours Tuesday, August 12th from 6-8 PM.
Interment Riverside Cemetery.
