Obituary

WORCESTER-Joseph E. “Joey Crack” Howard, 20, of Worcester, died Friday, August 14th from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He leaves his mother of the heart, Alexis Weaver, two brothers, Peter Weaver and Mark Howard, Jr.; two sisters, Sabrina and Katerina LaFlash; two nieces, Alannah and Aryiah Weaver; three brothers of the heart, Doran Bryan, Tory Taylor and Wilson Mejia all of Worcester; and aunts, uncles and cousins. His extended family included his co-workers Paul Cleary, Ed Roy and Jason Ward who will miss him dearly. His maternal grandparents Joseph and Mary O’Connor predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester the son of April (O’Connor) Howard of Worcester. Joey was a graduate of Worcester Vocational Tech, and had worked for Paul’s Auto Body and Sales, as an auto body repairman for the past four years. He loved his work, time spent with friends and his motorcycle. Joey will be remembered for his ever present smile.
The funeral is Saturday, August 22nd, from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church, 929 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, August 21st from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions in his memory to O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home.
