Methuen, MA – Jessica Lyn (Janis) Lliteras, 30, died peacefully Sunday August 16, 2009 with her loving family by her side.
Jessica was born in Patchogue, NY daughter of John and Barbara (Paxson) Janis. She was a graduate of Patchogue Medford High School class of 1997 and received the National school choral award. A graduate of County College of Morris, she received an associate’s degree in early childhood education, and from New Jersey City University received a bachelor’s in Music Education.
Jessica was blessed with a beautiful voice and a gift to sing, which she shared with her family and church. Jessica had a deep Christian faith and a tremendous belief in God. Her four and a half year battle with cancer was courageous and handled with ultimate grace and she was an inspiration to all around her.
Besides her parents, Jessica will be forever missed by her husband of 4 years, Yoav “Joe” Lliteras, her two sisters, Loralyn Riccardi and Jennifer Weis and one brother John Paul Janis, all of New Jersey, her maternal grandfather William Paxson and his wife Charlotte and her paternal grandmother, Elida Janis, as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Service will be held on Friday evening, August 21, 2009 at 7pm, at the New England Bible Church, 60 Chandler Road, Andover, MA 01810.Arrangements are under the direction of the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., in Methuen.
