PRICE, JOHN STOFER II, 51, passed away Friday, August 14, 2009.
Born September 10, 1957 to John Stofer Price I and Cornelia Willett Price, he spent most of his life in the Valley Station area. John enjoyed his career selling and financing cars for Rocky's Auto Sales and Advantage Auto Sales. He finished his career as a collections manager for the Adjustment Bureau of Louisville.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served four years of active duty. He volunteered for the Louisville Jaycees, raising funds to support the community. John was a member of the Valley Station Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, John is survived by his daughters, Trinity Beige Price, Chandea Brooke Risen and Amber Lynn Risen; sisters, Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Sherrill (Jim), Mary Margaret "Peggy" Meredith (Darrell) and Sharon Jane "Janie" Mehaffey (Matt); grandson, Jeremy; best friend, Robby; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Monday at Sun Valley Country Club.
