In Dexter, Maine August 8, 2009 John Carnes died suddenly in his home after a period of failing health, he was 56 years old. He is the son of Edward Carnes and the late Virginia (Perry) Carnes of Raynham. John was born in Taunton and lived in Raynham until moving to Dexter, ME. eighteen years ago. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed as a technician installing satellite dishes. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and everything outdoors. John leaves his children Lee Michael & Marlene Carnes both of ME. and Sara Carnes of Hawaii and Lynn Carnes. His siblings Edward Carnes III of Raynham, Deborah Marotte of Raynham, Mary Hazen of Taunton, Lisa Thurber of Rehoboth and the late Patricia Bousquin. John also leaves several grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Pleasant St. Cemetery in Raynham on Friday, August 21st at 11am. Arrangements are being handled by the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton, MA.
