Thomas L. COLARDO, Jr. of Edna Street, died Friday at Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the beloved husband of Theresa Colardo.
They were married 23 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Thomas L. and Elena “Helen” (Paone) Colardo. He lived in Johnston his whole life. Mr. Colardo had been with the RI Secretary of State Office in the UCC office for 28 years before retiring in 1998. He had also worked for the former Mike Harbour Golf Learning Center.
He had been a past member of the Valley Country Club. A Starter at Midville Country Club. He had been a scorer for the East Providence Mens Softball league.
He was a PC Friar season ticket holder and an avid Red Sox and Cleveland Browns fan. He was the 3rd base coach for Paul’s over 50 softball team.
He is also survived by his loving daughter, Tonya Honnetter and her husband Carl of Johnston, and his grandchildren, Ashley and Victoria Honnetter and Maddox Harpool. He was brother of the Late Paula A. Colardo.
Funeral Wednesday at 9AM from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Tuesday 5-8pm.
