Lula Mae Swindoll Miller, 91, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2009, at the home of her daughter in Southaven. She was born in Potts Camp, MS to the late Warren and Lela Woodard Swindoll on May 20, 1918. She was a member of North Main United Methodist Church in Water Valley, MS.
Visitation will be at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2009. The funeral service will take place Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fred Eakes and Gene Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS. Pallbearers are Paul McCullar, David Green, and David Duncan.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Duncan of Trafford, AL and Betty (David) Green of Southaven, MS; one grandson, David (Beth) Duncan of Remlap, AL, and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Winfred Miller; a son, Jerry Wayne Miller; and seven brothers and three sisters.
