Obituary

BOSTON...Ernest M. Ferry, of Westport, 62, died Wednesday, August 6, 2003 after abrief illness. He was the husband of Mary F. (Silvia) Ferry and son of the late ManuelFerry, Jr. and the late Mary (Costa) Ferry. He died at Brigham & Women's Hospitalin Boston.

He was born in Westport and was a life long resident of the town. He wasthe Owner & Operator of Goldstein's Lawn and Garden in Westport. In addition to hiswife he is survived by 1 Son: Manuel E. Ferry of Westport, 2 Daughters: Catherien M.Riley and Cindy Berube both of Westport, 4 Brothers: Arthur J. Ferry of Gouverneur,NY, John Ferry, Manuel Ferry III and Michael P. Ferry all of Westport, 5 Sisters:Louise M. Burke, Arline F. Peckham, Helen R. Ferry, Mary I. Ferry and IsabelleLachapelle-Ferry all of Westport, 4 Grandchildren: Julia and Michael Riley andLindsay and Lily Berube, several Nieces and Nephews. He was the brother of the late Henry Ferry.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invites to attend will be from the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., in Westport, Saturday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.. Calling Hours will be Friday 4-8 P.M. Interment will be in BeechGrove Cemetery, Westport.
