Patricia F. (Waring) Dunn, age 71, of Gallup Hill Rd., Ledyard, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening at her home with her family at her side.
Mrs. Dunn was born in Stamford, CT on Dec. 22, 1937 the daughter of Else Kirby of St. Petersburg, FL.
A longtime resident of Ledyard, she was employed at Electric Boat for over 20 years, retiring from the Material Control Dept. in 1995.
She was married to Robert F. Dunn in Stamford on January 31, 1959. Mr. Dunn died January 11, 2007.
She is survived by her children, Michael Dunn, Thomas Dunn, Katherine Dunn, James Dunn, and Robert Dunn, all of Ledyard; two grandchildren, Patrick & Kelly, and her siblings, Carol Smith of Stamford, Robert Waring of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Janet Bardelli of Stamford. She was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Massi.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Rte. 12, Gales Ferry on Wednesday at 11am. Fr. Joseph DeCosta will be celebrant.
