Karen L. DiFabio, 47, of Jennifer Drive, Chester, NH died Friday January 11, 2002 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born in Beaufort, SC on November 5, 1954, a daughter of Geraldine A. (Santoro) Woodworth and the late Linwood Woodworth. She was a resident of Chester for over fifteen years, formerly living in Billerica, MA. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, Class of 1976, with a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology. She was a member the St. Jerome’s Mission Church, Chester, NH. She was the president of the Chester PTA, where she was active for many years. She was very active in the Chester Elementary School where she volunteered until last year.
She is survived by her husband, Paul A. DiFabio of Chester, NH, three sons, Bryan DiFabio, Bobby DiFabio, Stephen DiFabio all of Chester, NH, her mother, Gerry A. Woodworth of Billerica, MA, one brother, Paul Woodworth of Salem, NH, one sister, Dianne Tonelli of Ayer, MA, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday January 15, 2002 at 10:00am at St. Jerome’s Mission Church, which meets at Chester Congregational Baptist Church, corner of Routes 102 and 121, Chester, NH. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, NH. Friends may call on Monday January 14, 2001 from 3-7pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to their favorite charity.
