Shirley A. Dross, 72, of Auburn, NH died August 11, 2009 at the Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Attleboro, MA May 23, 1937 to Harold and Frances (MacDonald) Wilson. She had been a resident of Auburn the past 40 years.
She served in the US Air Force.
She worked as a school bus driver for the Town of Auburn and later worked for Computer Vision.
She volunteered as a softball and basketball coach and was also a den mother.
Family members include her five children, Steven E. Dross of Candia, Michael W. Dross and his wife, Linda of Auburn, Robin C. Cole of Nottingham, Robert J. Dross and James A. Dross, both of Auburn; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; her mother of Ossippee; a brother, Robert Wilson of Arizona; three sisters, Gloria Beardsworth of Effingham, Jane Fowler and Linda Feeney, both of N. Attleboro, MA; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Friday, August 14, 2009 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester.
Burial was private.
