MORGAN, John Bynum, age 24 years old of Teaneck, NJ, died on Sunday, August 9, 2009.
Devoted son of Deborah and John Morgan. Dear brother of Courtney Morgan. Loving Grandson of Lillie Bynum and John Morgan Sr. He will be missed by his large-extended family and his many friends.
John attended the Teaneck public school system, and was a 2003 graduate of Teaneck High School. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps when this country was on the brink of war, and attained the rank of Corporal. He was an Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Specialist. He was honorably decorated with the following medals: Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Letter of Appreciation, Certificate of Appreciation and the Rifle Marksman Badge. John had a passion for baseball and continued to play into his adulthood.
Friends and family are invited for visitation at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ on Thursday, August 13th from 4-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will start at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home on Friday, August 14th at 8:30 a.m. for Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ.
