George F. Leamy, Sr. of Wilbur Hollow Road died Monday at home. He was the beloved husband of Teresa J. (Tanguay) Leamy. They were married for 45 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Raymond and Stella (Walieko) Leamy. He lived in Scituate for three years previously living in Smithfield.
Mr. Leamy was a machinist for Paramont Inc. of Greenville retiring in 1999. He was an Army veteran.
He is also survived by his loving sons, George F. Jr. and Kevin C. Leamy both of North Scituate, two grandchildren, George F. Leamy III and Autumn Rose Leamy, and a beloved brother, Raymond Leamy and his wife, Anne of Warwick. He was the brother of the late Edward Leamy. Funeral Thursday at 9:00AM from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Joseph Church, Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
