Wesley W. Stone, 88 of Rochester, NH died Tuesday August 5, 2003 at the Rochester Manor, Rochester. He was born in Dorchester, MA on April 12, 1915, a son of the late William C. and Florence (Munday) Stone. He was a resident of Rochester for five years, formerly living in Ossipee and Hampstead. He was employed as a draftsman for Bell Laboratories, North Andover, MA for 21 years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of the Ossipee Valley Bible Church where he played the organ for several years.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Loleta M. (Webster) Stone of Rochester, two daughters, Linda J. Bodwell, Sandra C. Kelleher both of Haverhill, MA, 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter Anita Huckins in 1997.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 8th at 1:00pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Hampstead. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8pm at the funeral home.
