Joseph W. “Hillotypist” IN Shelton, CT July 30, 2009 Joseph W. Boudreau husband of Melissa Ann (Lantz) Boudreau died unexpectedly in his home at the age of 65. Born in Swansea Ma, Joseph was the son of the late Wilfred and Katherine (Roberts) Boudreau. He was a graduate of Case High School class of 1962, then went on to join the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. After the Navy, Joseph received his Bachelor’s degree at R.I School of Design and his Master’s degree at S.M.U. Dartmouth in MA. Joseph was a retired professor for Paier College of Art in Ct, and also at Salve Regina College in R.I. and the University of Minnesota Duluth. He was a member of the Daguerrian Society and enjoyed SCUBA diving, astronomy, hang-gliding, hiking, flint-knapping, woodworking and painting, and was also a photographic historian, author and poet. Joseph is survived by son Michael Joseph Boudreau and his wife Kimberly of New Bedford, MA and son Brian Boudreau and his wife Evelyn of Haverhill MA. Grandfather of Jaclyn, Nick, Emma, Ethan Joseph, Marisha and Logan. Nephew of Evelyn Oliveira of New Bedford, MA. Services were held privately at the request of his family.
