Worcester- Helene C. (Tomashunas) Bulak, 87, of Columbia, South Carolina, formerly of 3 Perry Avenue, died Thursday, July 31, in Lifecare of Columbia.
Her husband of 59 years, Stephen A. Bulak, died July 1. She leaves a son, James S. Bulak of Columbia, South Carolina; a granddaughter; nephews and nieces. Two brothers, Julius J. Tomashunas and Anthony J. Tomashunas, predeceased her. She was born in Norwood, daughter of Michael and Catherine (Zenavitch) Tomashunas and lived in Worcester most of her life. She graduated from Commerce High School.
Mrs. Bulak was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Parish.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward Street (www.worcesterfuneral.com), with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling period will be from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Susan G.
