TAUNTON – Alfred A. Henricks, husband of Mary C. (Almeida) Henricks, died peacefully at home after a long illness, on August 8, 2009.
He was 75.
Born and raised in Taunton, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Enos)Henriques.
Educated in Taunton schools, he was a self-employed carpenter and also worked for Al Dulude Contractor of Taunton for many years.
Mr. Henricks enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, and being around his family.
Besides his wife he leaves; 2 sons, Steven Henricks of N. Dighton, and David Maltais and his wife Lee of San Antonio, TX; 6 daughters, Carol Cole of Acushnet, Gail Michael of Laguna, CA, Lisa Kingsbury of Berkley, Colette Dattolie and her husband Thomas of Mt. Plymouth, FL, Janet DesMarais and her husband Douglas of Sebastian, FL, and Linda Costa of Somerset; 14 grandchildren; and 2 nieces.
Alfred was also the brother of the late Mary Howes.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, on Monday, Aug. 10th at 7 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home prior to the service, from 4-7 p.m.
Cremation to follow at Woodlawn Crematory.
