McGrath, Peter M., of Marshfield, Aug. 6, 2009, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of 58 years of Teresa (Farrell) McGrath. Dear father of David McGrath and his wife Sheila of Plymouth, Joanne Ruddy and her husband Edward of CT., Teresa Fitzgerald and her husband Thomas of Marshfield, Christine Ramaci of Marshfield and Thomas McGrath and his wife Melanie of Marshfield. Also survived by l3 grandchildren. Brother of Terry Welch of Marshfield and the late Ann McCullough. Peter was born in Boston and has lived in Marshfield for 37 years.
He was a retired employee of Boston Edison. Peter was retired navy veteran of 20 years during WWII. Peter was a volunteer of 10 years at the Marshfield Mazes playground.
Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St., rte. l39, Marshfield, Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of The Assumption Church, Green Harbor at l0 a.m.
Visiting hours Sunday 4 to 8 p.m.
Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery, Marshfield.
