Carol (Thomas) Dunn, 65, of Leominster, MA died Tuesday August 4, at Health Alliance Leominster Hospital.
Carol will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Carol was born on November 28, 1943 in Fitchburg, MA, the daughter of the late George O. and Betty (Henderson) Thomas. She was a graduate of Lunenburg High
School Class of 1962. In recent years, she enjoyed spending time as a volunteer at the former Burbank Hospital and was an active member of Highland Baptist Church.
Surviving Carol are her three children: Melissa Leary and her husband Shaun, their children Caulen and Kelsey, all of Myrtle Beach, SC; David Dunn and his wife Michelle, their children Alyssa and Jamison, all of Gardner, MA; Christopher Dunn and his wife Sherry, their children McKenna, Bailey and Camryn, all of Hollis, N.H. She also leaves a brother, George Thomas of Townsend, MA and two sisters, Bonnie Ciuffetti of Lunenburg, MA and Kerry Jaquith of E. Brookfield, MA.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation hour to be held at Highland Baptist Church, 27 Cedar Street, Fitchburg, on Saturday August 8, from 2 - 3 PM. The funeral service will follow visitation, at 3 o’clock. Pastor Peter Temple will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date in South Cemetery, Lunenburg, MA.
Contributions in Carol’s memory may be made to Highland Baptist Church. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Bosk Funeral Home, 85 Blossom Street, Fitchburg.
