McVEIGH, Lillian (nee Taggart), age 91 a resident of Teaneck for 58 years, formerly of Jersey City, died Thursday, August 6, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Martin McVeigh. Devoted Mother of Michael and his wife Gladys, Paul, Brian, Dennis and his wife Patricia, and Patricia McVeigh. Loving Grandmother of 13 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters Katherine, Margaret and Ruth. Lillian belonged to the Widows and Widowers Club of Bergenfield and was a member of the Women’s Club of Teaneck along with numerous Senior Citizen Clubs in the area. She also worked with the Board of Elections. Friends and family are invited for visitation at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ Friday, August 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will begin on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home and then to St. Joseph’s RCC in Bogota for a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
