Clifford A. “Cliffy” Hancock, Sr., 68, of Tiverton, RI passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Born in Westport, son of the late James W. Hancock, Sr. and the late Lucy E. (Kirby) Hancock, he had lived in Tiverton for most of his life. Mr. Hancock was an equipment operator for the Tiverton Highway Department.
Survivors include 3 sons: Ernest A. Hancock of Tiverton, Brendan A. Hancock of Tiverton and Mark A. Hancock of WI; 2 daughters: Susan L. Guilmette of Tiverton and Melissa E. Hegazy of Tiverton; many grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was father of the late Clifford A. Hancock, Jr. and brother of the late Phylis E. Anctil.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Sunday, August 9, 2009 at the Potter Funeral Home at 4:30 P.M.
Calling hours Sunday 2 - 4:30 P.M.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
