Edwin S. MacGregor, 78, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died on Monday, August 3 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Barbara D. (Seeberger) MacGregor. Born in Eastport, ME, he was educated in Eastport, Saugus and Stoughton schools and graduated from Stoughton High School. He was a resident of Stoughton since 1942. Mr. MacGregor was a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a self-employed Electronics Technician. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and building.
In addition to his wife, Mr. MacGregor is survived by his children, John Bush of Hopkinton and Donna Kelly of East Bridgewater, as well as his grandchildren, Jonathan Bush, Tanya, Nicole and Thomas Kelly. He was the brother of Jean Buker of CO and Charlotte Doyle of CT.
Graveside Service will be held at Round Pond Cemetery, Charlotte St., Charlotte, ME on Saturday, August 8 at 2 PM. Visiting Hours omitted. Donations in Edwin’s name may be made to the Charlotte Fire Dept., 9 Annas Drive, Charlotte, ME 04666.
