SCHEYER, George A., age 75 years old of Teaneck, NJ, formerly of Cliffside Park, died on Tuesday, August 4.
Beloved Husband of Lesley (nee Schneider). Devoted Father of George and his fiancé Kelly, Joseph, and Barbara Begley and her husband John. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Caroline and his brother Thomas.
George was a long-time employee of Lever Bros. in Edgewater, NJ. He coached Teaneck Southern Little League for many years. He was a member of the Cliffside Park Elks Lodge and was a Korean War Veteran who served in the U.S. Army.
Friends and family are invited for visitation at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ on Thursday, August 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will start on Thursday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ. Please make a donation, in his name, to a charity of your choice.
