Gayle A, Carrico, 77 of Louisville passed away August 3, 2009 at The Eastern Star Home.
He was a retired supervisor of the Louisville Water Company, an Army Veteran of the Koran War, a Charter member of Ascension Catholic Church ,a member of the Flaget Alumni Class of 1950 and a former officer and chaplain of the Elks Club #8.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Joyce Goering
He is survived by his children Mary Gayle Gurley (Steve), Danny Carrico (Shari) and Terry Carrico, and our sister, Sharon Ostendorf, brother, George Carrico, sister, Pat Murphy. Also survived by four grandchildren Laurie Doyle (Mike), Douglas Gurley, Erin Carrico (Debbie her Mother) and Danielle Carrico, three great-grandchildren, Megan and Mason Doyle and James Douglas Gurley (his mother, Sydney), and also a special cousin, Ann Mary Mehling.
Mr. Carrico’s wishes were to be cremated. There will be a private Catholic burial at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery at a later date.
