Jennie M. (Pivovar) Davy of Windham, New Hampshire died Saturday night at IHS in Derry, NH she was 86 years old.
She was born in North Andover, MA and came to Windham in 1920. Mrs. Davy lived most of her life in Windham where she attended Searles Grammar School and later attended Woodbury High School in Salem, NH. She worked for Gaunt’s Textile Mill in Methuen, MA for 26 years. Jennie retired from the Accounting Department of Avco Systems in Wilmington, MA in 1982. She attended St. Matthew Church in Windham, NH
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00am at St. Matthew Church in Windham followed by burial in Cemetery on the Hill also in Windham.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 3-7pm at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street in Salem, New Hampshire.
