Thomas E. Baynham, Jr., 77, Dunwoody, GA., died Monday, July 13, 2009, at his residence. Thomas E. Baynham, Jr. passed away during the evening of Monday, July 13, 2009. Mr. Baynham was born on December 24, 1931 in Clarksville, Tennessee, the son of Thomas E. Baynham, Sr. and Elsie Cooley Baynham. After growing up on a farm in eastern Montgomery County, Mr. Baynham graduated from Clarksville High School and earned a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Austin Peay State University and a master's degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Mr. Baynham married the former Anne Carney Gary on August 14, 1954. Mr. Baynham was employed for over thirty years with IBM. The Baynham family settled in Dunwoody, Georgia in 1965, where Mr. Baynham was living at the time of his death. Mr. Baynham is survived by his wife, Anne G. Baynham; his children: son Thomas E. Baynham, III and his wife, Cynthia L. Baynham; son Frank G. Baynham and his wife, Julie A. Baynham and daughter Susan B. Miller and her husband, Kevin S. Miller. He is also survived by, five granddaughters, Shelley M. Baynham, Margaret C. Baynham, Lily G. Baynham, Rebecca K. Miller and Katherine S. Miller, and one grandson, Luke G. Baynham. A memorial service was held at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church in Sandy Springs, Georgia on Friday, July 17, 2009.
