QUINEBAUG, CT__ Elizabeth L. Callan, 62, of Quinebaug, CT., passed away peacefully, Wednesday, July 29, 2009 in UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, MA, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family and close friends. She leaves two sisters, MaryAnn Belliveau of Old Orchard Beach, ME and Kathleen Callan of Worcester, MA; a very close friend, Rick Sand; a longtime companion, Scott LaBreck, as well as, her two “special boys” Toby and Scruffy. She also leaves an extended family of many friends, nieces, nephews and cousins. Elizabeth was born in Worcester, a daughter of Joseph and Eunice (Boss) Callan.
Ms. Callan was a Certified Pharmacy Technician with CVS for many years before retiring three years ago. She graduated from Worcester South High School in 1965 and attended Sawyer Business School. Elizabeth was an avid book reader. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed going to Hawaii.
