Frederick M. George, of Plymouth formerly of Holbrook, passed away at the age of 66 on July 30th at home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his beloved wife Lorraine (Thorngren) George of Plymouth, his sons Theodore F. and his wife Elaine of Hingham and Steven F. and his wife Jennifer of Plymouth and his cherished grandchildren Nicholas, Abby, Emma and Jack all of Plymouth. He also leaves his brothers William George of Braintree and Thomas George of Eagle Springs, NC. Frederick grew up in Holbrook and graduated from Holbrook High School. He and his wife Lorraine moved to Plymouth in 1985 where he was an entrepreneur. Frederick was a self-employed real estate and insurance agent for many years and refurbished houses. Frederick was a member of the Plymouth County Board of Realtors, enjoyed gardening and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 5th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) at 10 AM followed by burial at Manomet Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 4th from 4 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to Operation Smile, 6435 Tidewater Dr, Norfolk, VA 23509 – a children’s medical charity providing free medical help to children with facial deformities, including cleft palates and cleft lips, around the world.
