Chhotubhai V. Patel, 80, of Clarksville TN passed away on Friday July 31, 2009. He was born in Velanpore, India. After obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Economics he moved to Zambia where spent forty years with his family. He was an entrepreneur who owned a grocery store in Lusaka, Zambia.
He is preceded in death by his wife Maniben Patel who passed away in May 1998. He is survived by his loving sons Anil and Mahendra, both of Clarksville, and Shailesh of Hendersonville, and grandchildren Dilan, Neelam, Leena, Veer, and Saajan.
His extended family includes Birdie Akin, Cathy Stafford, Tony Whitehead, Debra Wilkins and those who knew him at Fieldstone Place.
Visitation will be Saturday 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
A prayer service will be held 6:00-7:00 pm Saturday and 11:00 am until the hour of service Sunday at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home.
