Joseph D.Lacaria, 81, of Pawtucket died Tuesday, July 28 at Miriam Hospital.
Born in Janesville, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Bruno and Hattie (Clarida) LaCaria. He lived in Pawtucket since 1995 previously living in Providence.
Mr. Lacaria was a hairdresser and owned and operated Snippers in Providence until retiring and was an avid jazz patron and a professional bassist and vocalist. He was a member of the Jewish Community Center. He was an army veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by a daughter, Jo Marie LaCaria of Pawtucket and Chicago, IL, two grandchildren, Michael and Michelle, one great grandson, Jamori, a sister, Helen McDonnell, a brother in-law, Frank Romanzak and several nieces and nephews of Janesville, WI
Funeral Service Saturday at 10:00AM in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial at a later date in Milton Lawns Cemetery, Wisconsin.
