Obituary

DRACUT - Thomas F. Plunkett, 59, a long time Dracut resident, died Tuesday evening in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, following a long illness.

Born in Boston on December 31, 1949, he was a son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Smith) Plunkett. He received his education in the Boston school system.

An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the Army of the United States.

Prior to his illness, Mr. Plunkett had worked for many years as a carpenter.

Surviving him are two sisters Teresa Mair of Raynham and Elizabeth Plunkett of Dracut and with whom he resided; one brother Edward Plunkett and his wife Janice of Peabody; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Joan Canavan, Mary Knudsen, Grace Puopolo and Christopher Plunkett.

Friends may call at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Sunday from 2 until 6 PM. His Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Interment in Mt.
