BEVERLY: Lynda A. (Martin) Brown, 57, of Jaclen Towers, died Thursday, July 23, 2009 in the Beverly Hospital following an extended illness.
Born in Beverly on February 9, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Warren A. and Ursula A. (Bellew) Martin. She was a resident of Beverly for most of her life and was a graduate of the Beverly High School class of 1970. Lynda was employed as a nurse’s aid for several home health agencies.
She enjoyed time shared her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted lover of animals.
She is survived by her son, Theodore A. “Ted” Brown, III and his wife, Jessica, three grandchildren, Zachary, Kaitlyn and Matthew Brown, a loving sister, Janice M. Martin of Salem, a niece, Rachel Martin, a nephew, Barry Martin and three great-nieces and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly at 12 Noon. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 - 12 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. There are no visiting hours.
