Jennie Lynn Sager Moulton, 89, died Tuesday at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. Jennie was born in Hugo, OK, May 5, 1920, daughter of the late Carl and Jennie (Jones) Sager. She attended Lindenwood College in St. Louis MO. for 2 years and continued her education at the University of Arkansas, graduating with her B.A. and a major in English in 1942. She was an elementary school teacher and worked in several states including OK, CT and NY. Mrs. Moulton enjoyed tending to her plants, flowers and was known for her flawless seamstress work. A beloved mother above all else, she was an avid reader who truly loved spending time with her family. She was an active member of the Moultonboro Methodist Church and served on several committees. She was instrumental in developing senior housing in Moultonboro during her retirement years. Mrs. Moulton was predeceased by her devoted husband, Paul R. Moulton.
Her loving children, Lee Moulton of Londonderry, Carl Moulton of Pittsburgh PA, David Moulton of Provincetown, MA, Marsha Moulton Ladeau of Andover, MA, P. Jay Moulton of Seattle, WA survive her. She also leaves seven cherished grandchildren and a loving great granddaughter.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the Peabody Funeral Home and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd. Londonderry, NH. The funeral services will be held Saturday at 11a.m in the Londonderry United Methodist Church, 258 Mammoth Rd. Londonderry. The burial will follow in the Holland Hill Cemetery in Moultonboro, NH.
