Michael R. Boyle, 62, of Londonderry, NH died on Wednesday July 29, 2009 at his sister’s home in Merrimack, NH. Mr. Boyle was born in Derry, NH on May 1, 1947 son of the late Thomas R. and Gladys E. (Nugent) Boyle. He was a resident of Londonderry, NH for most of his life. Mr. Boyle was a veteran of the US Army where he served during the Vietnam Era. He was employed as an electronics technician for Xerox Corp. in MA and NH. He enjoyed snowmobiling and was a former member of the Rough Riders Snowmobile Club. In addition, Mr. Boyle enjoyed rock music, computer golf and was an avid Red Sox fan.
He is survived by his son, Michael T. Boyle and his wife Theresa of Fairfield, CA, three grandchildren, Michael T. Boyle, Jr., Christopher R. Boyle and Kobe B. Boyle, his two sisters, Beverly Ann Butterworth and her husband George of Unity, NH, Kathleen M. Greenleaf and her husband John of Merrimack, two brother-in-laws and longtime friends, Rick Morrisette and Tom Ethridge, also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Michael R. Boyle, Jr.
There were no calling hours. Following cremation, a graveside service was held with military honors on Thursday August 6, 2009 at 11:00am in Pleasant View Cemetery, Londonderry. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
