Michael David Hoyle, 24

Dateline: Norton, MA

Michael David “Mikey” Hoyle, 24, a lifelong resident of Norton passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday July 28, 2009 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Norwood, MA on September 23, 1984 he was a loving son of Debbie Y. (Wetmore) Hoyle of Waterboro, Maine and Mark David “Harry” Hoyle and his wife Kristen of Norton.
He was educated in Norton public schools and was a 2003 graduate of Norton High School. Mikey, following in his father footsteps was a carpenter and for the past 6 years was an employee of the Don Foote Contracting Co. in Stoneham.
He was baptized in and had attended the Trinitarian Congregational Church in Norton. His passion in life was building and he also enjoyed fishing, music, his favorite being rap music, spending time with his family, especially with his adoring niece and nephew and the simple pleasure of relaxing in his Adirondack chair. Mikey will always be fondly remembered for his sweet tooth for candy and will be sadly missed by his loving family.
In addition to his parents he was the devoted brother of Jessica L. Hoyle and her fiancé Bill Anderson of Norton, Venessa A. Hoyle of Norton, Matthew D. Hoyle of Maine, Brittany L. Hoyle of Maine and the late Mark David Hoyle, Jr. He was the dear grandson of Rosemarie Hoyle of Norton, Leonard and Joyce Wetmore of Maine and Florida and the late David R. Hoyle. He is also survived by his cherished niece Kallieh, nephew Matai and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday August 3rd at 1:00 P.M. in the Trinitarian Congregational Church, East Main and Pine Streets, Norton. Burial will follow in the Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday August 2nd from 4-7 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton.
In lieu of flowers Mikey’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the D.A.R.E Program, care of the Norton Police Department 70 East Main St. Norton, MA 02766.
