Obituary

Mrs. Louise J. Dryer, age 88 of Methuen died Monday in the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence. She was the wife of the late Theodore Dryer.
Mrs. Dryer was born in Stafford Springs, CT., daughter of the late Domenic and Francesca (Tarantola) Aliprandi. She attended the former Girls High School in Boston and went on to study music. She was a telephone operator, formerly employed by Lord & Taylor and Ratheon Corp. in Boston. In earlier years, she lived in New York and was known as an accomplished pianist. She also taught piano. She enjoyed traveling, family get togethers and fine dining. Mrs. Dryer was a member of the “Red Hatters” and was known for her love of animals. She had 3 three dogs, Channel, Bijou and Penney. She is survived by one sister: Josephine Martell of Cherry Hill, NJ. and several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Marie Porzio. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street MEDFORD on Friday at 9:15 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10:15 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 3-7 PM. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
