John A. Nardi age 84 of Norton formerly of Canton passed away July 27th at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born & raised in Hyde Park, he graduated from Hyde Park High class of 1942, was an Air Force Veteran of WW II and lived in Hyde Park for many years before moving to Canton in 1969. He was the Owner of John Nardi Chevrolet in Randolph for 25 years before retiring in 1983 & was formerly the Director of the Mass Auto Dealers Assn. He was a member of Thorney Lea Golf Club in Brockton for many years. Beloved husband of Kathleen F. (McCullough) & the late Alyce J. (Pielock). Brother of Leona Nims of Braintree, Susan Forrister of ME, Frank Nardi of Attleboro & the late Louise Forrest. Also survived by many nieces, nephews & great nieces & nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Friday morning at 10:00. Interment private.
