Mrs. Josephine Parisi, 85 of Boston’s North End died on Monday in the Massachusetts General Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Alexander Parisi with whom she shared more than 61 years of marriage. Born and educated in Boston, she remained a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late Vincent and Lillian (Russo) Napoli. A loving mother and grandmother, she was an active communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She also enjoyed playing bingo
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters: Joan Briere and her husband Peter of Wayland, Christine Frost and her husband Ronald of East Bridgewater, Janice Parisi and her husband Paul Baldassari of Ashland, Maryann Tucker and her husband Robert of FL; and a son Michael Parisi and his wife Kelly McGrath of Charlestown. Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren. Visiting Hours Thursday from 9:45 - 10:45 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 12 North Sq., in Boston’s North End. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:45 AM. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Josephine’s name may be sent to the charity of your choice.
