Kenneth E. Martin Sr., of Plymouth formerly of Cambridge, passed away on July 23rd at the age of 71 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. Survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth (Rogers) of Plymouth (Manomet), his 2 sons Kenneth E. Martin Jr. of Plymouth (Manomet) and David M. Martin of Port St. Lucie, FL and his 5 cherished grandchildren Danielle, Mackenzie, Samantha, Jeffrey and John. Kenneth was born in Columbia, PA. He joined the Air Force in 1958 serving in the Korean Conflict as an aircraft mechanic. Ken was a ship builder for Cape Cod Ship Building for over 15 years and was a member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading and especially spending time with his family. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) on Monday, July 27th from 4 to 6 PM. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to the American Lung Association of MA, 460 Totten Pond Rd, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451.
